I was Sliced Open Like A Tomato
Hello all! I apologize for the lack of articles and reviews in the past few weeks. Two weeks ago I was having pain, last week I had surgery on that pain - an abscess near a previous surgery for an appendectomy and partial colonoscopy (sounds fun, huh?). And no, I'm not 70 years old, I'm 34 - it sucks.
And now this week I am recovering. It is actually nice to watch an episode without having to do a play-by-play write up of it, lol!
Well, anyway, I'll return soon when I am feeling better and where sitting up to type for a few hours does not hurt like hell. Until then, enjoy the rest of the website!
Thanks! Read 3 Comments... >> |

TAPS Travel To Ybor City
The team make two stops while down in Ybor City, Florida. The first one is The Cuban Club where activity has been reported throughout the entire building. Everything from apparitions, to sounds, the a little boy playing with a ball.
The next stop is the Trelles Clinic, where strange occurrences aren't always what they appear. This is a great episode for fans who like to watch some expert debunking - done by the professionals themselves.

17 Questions No One Has Asked Kris Williams
I'm sure Ms. Williams has heard every TAPS and "Ghost Hunters" question there is to be asked, so I thought I would try a different approach. I sent her a list of 17 questions about herself, rather than just about her television career. I only asked her to answer 10, but to my surprise, she answered all 17.
Ms. Williams really went through a lot of effort to do this interview for me, including getting the approval at multiple levels. She also spent a lot of time on the answers as well, so please don't hesitate to comment her a "thank you" after the article, and be sure to visit her links listed in the conclusion of the Q & A!
And just so everyone knows, and despite some assuming comments I've heard, after emailing back and forth with her a few times (actually, I knew after the first email) regarding this interview, her popularity has definitely not gone to her head. She is very polite, down-to-earth, and get ready for the big one - normal. Not to mention very cool and funny as well - you will get a sense of her personality in some of the answers to my questions.
VERY awesome of you, Kristen - YOU ROCK!!! THANKS for your time and effort!!!

TAPS Visit Author Edith Wharton's Mansion
The team try out some new equipment in this episode, including a "Black-Box", which is an Audible EMF (AEMF) detector, and a GeoPhone, which senses very slight vibrations. Both of the devices were brought along by Britt Griffith.
During the investigation, there are numerous instances that you can clearly hear footsteps walking around - at one point even right in front of Jason and Grant.

TAPS Return To Philly Once Again
To begin Season 4, the team travel to Philadelphia, PA once again, this time to investigate Fort Mifflin. The fort was commissioned in 1771 during the Revolutionary War. TAPS has a unique opportunity during this investigation - they are invited to be the first to investigate the recently discovered and excavated Casement 11 section. This is where a prisoner was said to have escaped using the pathways in that area. In this episode, TAPS catch some interesting EVP recordings along with even more interesting Thermal Video footage. An Island And A Castle
In this second installment of Season 5, TAPS investigate two locations in New Hampshire. The first is the entire area of Star Island in Portsmouth where noises and objects moving are common.
Then they head over to the town of Gilford to investigate the Gimball Castle. In this location there have been many sightings of full body apparitions which interacted with staff and guests, as if they were alive.

Using Spectroscopy To Analyze Apparitions
Many photographs and videos have been collected of ghostly apparitions in various settings. There have been analog, digital, and thermal recordings of entities moving from one corner of a room to another. But the lack of hard-core scientific data has kept the credible scientists at bay, choosing to study more practical topics and theories - the fields they won't get laughed at for studying. My God Can Beat Up Your God
I'm not going to turn this article into a battle over which religion is right or wrong. The main reason for this is that I am an Atheist - in the true sense of the word - and well, we all know which religion Atheists believe are right. But I am going to bring up a few facts about religion, Christianity mostly, that some people may find offensive. So if you are one of those people, move your mouse up to the top right corner of this window (or left corner if you are using a Mac), and click on that "X" up there, because I'm going to continue whether you like it or not.
