17 Questions No One Has Asked Kris Williams
I'm sure Ms. Williams has heard every TAPS and "Ghost Hunters" question there is to be asked, so I thought I would try a different approach. I sent her a list of 17 questions about herself, rather than just about her television career. I only asked her to answer 10, but to my surprise, she answered all 17.
Ms. Williams really went through a lot of effort to do this interview for me, including getting the approval at multiple levels. She also spent a lot of time on the answers as well, so please don't hesitate to comment her a "thank you" after the article, and be sure to visit her links listed in the conclusion of the Q & A!
And just so everyone knows, and despite some assuming comments I've heard, after emailing back and forth with her a few times (actually, I knew after the first email) regarding this interview, her popularity has definitely not gone to her head. She is very polite, down-to-earth, and get ready for the big one - normal. Not to mention very cool and funny as well - you will get a sense of her personality in some of the answers to my questions.
VERY awesome of you, Kristen - YOU ROCK!!! THANKS for your time and effort!!!

Using Spectroscopy To Analyze Apparitions
Many photographs and videos have been collected of ghostly apparitions in various settings. There have been analog, digital, and thermal recordings of entities moving from one corner of a room to another. But the lack of hard-core scientific data has kept the credible scientists at bay, choosing to study more practical topics and theories - the fields they won't get laughed at for studying. My God Can Beat Up Your God
I'm not going to turn this article into a battle over which religion is right or wrong. The main reason for this is that I am an Atheist - in the true sense of the word - and well, we all know which religion Atheists believe are right. But I am going to bring up a few facts about religion, Christianity mostly, that some people may find offensive. So if you are one of those people, move your mouse up to the top right corner of this window (or left corner if you are using a Mac), and click on that "X" up there, because I'm going to continue whether you like it or not. A Conversation With Ghosts
Personally, I'm not one for EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) evidence, but I must admit that I have heard some very convincing evidence put forth by many paranormal researchers. There are a few different types of EVP recordings that I have heard, all with different levels of audibility, diversity, and the possible intelligent voices. After hearing a few recordings of the latter, intelligent voices, it made me wonder why researchers are not attempting real-time communication. Not only would this floor any skeptic who is present, it would revolutionize paranormal research to the point they may even acquire a new name - paranormal communicators. Read 691 Comments... >> |

That's A Nice Outfit You Have
There has always been a question about ghosts and paranormal activity that I have had, but never could get a straight answer to. Why do ghosts wear clothes? Some of the answers to this question that I have found all boil down to one explanation - the ghost manifests the image of themselves as they remember during life. This explanation has never made sense to me. If a ghost were a spirit of a human being, then why is the ghost not naked - did they bring a change of clothes with them into to spirit world? This theory is based around what is known as a residual haunting, as these are the type associated with entities that wear clothing. My thoughts about residual hauntings differ than that of most paranormal researchers, as they feel a residual haunting is still a spirit, or being, although "recorded" in time. I Ain't Afraid Of No Ghosts
I find it amusing that paranormal investigators go to such extremes to make the science of paranormal research an accepted form of study by using cutting edge technology and devices, then when the homeowner asks for the ghost to be removed from their house, those same researchers call in a man with a cross and some water to walk around blessing the house and casting out the entity. The whole credibility of the investigation just flies right out the window at that point, in my opinion. It seems so much effort has been put behind finding and revealing paranormal activity, that no thought whatsoever has gone into killing them. So here I will give my educated opinion on how such a task would have to be approached, and there are no crosses or holy water involved. Read 3 Comments... >> |

Is Ghost Hunting a REAL Scientific Field?
This is the biggest argument brought forth by most skeptics of ghost hunting. Rather than even accepting any possibility whatsoever, some choose to just dismiss even the thought of something so absurd. If a ghost cannot be seen or heard in an ordinary setting, during an ordinary day, then it must not exist. So if it does not exist, why even bother wasting time in a field that, by the skeptics definition, cannot exist. Thanks to many fraudulent ghost hunters, sensitives, and others, it has been hard to gain any credibility in the field of paranormal research. So again, the question, "Is Ghost Hunting a real science?" Read 0 Comments... >> |
