My God Can Beat Up Your God
I'm not going to turn this article into a battle over which religion is right or wrong. The main reason for this is that I am an Atheist - in the true sense of the word - and well, we all know which religion Atheists believe are right. But I am going to bring up a few facts about religion, Christianity mostly, that some people may find offensive. So if you are one of those people, move your mouse up to the top right corner of this window (or left corner if you are using a Mac), and click on that "X" up there, because I'm going to continue whether you like it or not.
I'll start with Christianity, my favorite religion to question, because they are so easily offended by hard facts that contradict their beliefs. The funny thing is, the more time goes on, the more those beliefs "officially" change. For example, there is absolutely no mention of demonic possession in the Old Testament. There are however three phrases in there that are so ridiculously mangled during interpretation, they they are said to "possibly" refer to possession. Then a few centuries later, someone decided that the Old Testament wasn't good enough for them, so they wrote a New Testament. Well in this sequel to the original Bible, there are numerous mentions of possession of human beings, and even pigs. Now did demons just decide to make their debut somewhere between the two publishing's, or is it all just fables. It would have to be one of those answers, wouldn't it? And with the Bible version 2.0, so came the exorcists to cast out these recent visitors to our Earth, known as demons. So without dragging this on much longer, I'll just assume that you get the point. But now we come to many of the other religious cultures around the world, Paganism, Islamic, Buddhists, and so on. Islam started from the teachings of a prophet named Muhammad, from around the 7th century. Islam has always taught demon possession, and apparently are very good at exorcising possessed people from their demons as well. Buddhists follow the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, known widely as the Buddha, from around 400 years before Jesus Christ's birth. Buddhists have a different perspective on demons, a demon is more of an action committed by a person, rather than a separate entity in control of the person. And finally, I'll end with Pagans. Now Pagans I get a kick out of, they actually party with the demons, and celebrate life, and death, among them. I do say, Paganism seems kind of fun. But that is all there is about Paganism for me right now. So I'll get to the whole point of this article - if you come across someone who is possessed, or a house that is haunted where the owner wants the demon to evacuate, who are you going to call? What would a Jewish ghost say to an Islam exorcist, or vice vesra? How would any person claiming paranormal activity feel if a Pagan decided to chill with their house ghost? So who or what is the cause of these possessions or hauntings? What method should you use to cast out an entity? What is the best way to get rid of those pesky demons? I would suggest that you go ask a Buddhist.

Thank you
on a side note ( I am a christian) i have a question for you , are you saying there is no god ( as an athiest ) or no eternal reward , if not what are the ghosts we are looking for and finding , if there is no after life as believed by athiests
Just because we don't understand something, does not mean we need to automatically label it with a "guess" of what it is... Labeling it the afterlife is just an assumption by some people... I need cold hard facts to believe something...
