New Boston InnFrom Massachusetts To Pittsburgh

The TAPS team visit an Inn in MA, and a residential house in Pittsburgh, PA. In this episode, Andy Andrews get moved from the Tech Department to being an Investigator.

He is moved there because of past tensions with Brian Harnois, where he was being extra bossy towards Andy. Most likely because Andy likes to take charge in whatever he is doing - but does it in an odd, polite sort of way.

Season 01 - Episode 09

Case #1: Sandisfield, MA - New Boston Inn

Case Manager: Brian Harnois

Investigators: Hawes, Wilson, Harnois, Gonsalves, Andy Andrews, Amy Andrews, C. Johnson, Bell, Sinclair

Complaint:
The Inn was built in 1737. In the ballroom, a woman named Harriette was killed in 1805 by a former boyfriend on her wedding day. In the bedroom, things falling off shelves, and the door continuously opens. Outside door in pub area lock kept unlocking while it was being turned and locked from the inside - there is only a keyhole on the outside, not latch or handle to turn. Also, investigator Sinclair has photographed orbs, and one in particular that he claims looks like a woman's face. Mike also claims to have EVP's.

TAPS Events:
First inspection has Andy and Grant trying to debunk the orbs, and immediately they find blown insulation in the attic, and multiple holes leading to the room where the orbs were seen.

A long, pointless discussion breaks out between Grant and Amy, versus Mike Sinclair over a photo of an orb (aka: dust) looks like a face. Amy, being a professional photographer, throws her 2-cents in and declares the image to be nothing but dust.

About halfway through the investigation, Bell calls Grant and Andy into a room where a pen is lying on the floor, and above is a guest book with pressure marks from a pen. They then experiment by placing the pen on an angle, on the book, then sealing off the room. They come back later in the investigation to find the pen rotated slightly. There was an audio recorder left in the room.

I was with Grant on this one. They did try to debunk the wind theory by blowing on the pen and the book and it did not move. However, something I did not think about was vibration of the house from them walking around, wind hitting the building etc. Very well done! I'm now with Grant and YOU on this one.
