An Island And A Castle

In this second installment of Season 5, TAPS investigate two locations in New Hampshire. The first is the entire area of Star Island in Portsmouth where noises and objects moving are common.

Then they head over to the town of Gilford to investigate the Gimball Castle. In this location there have been many sightings of full body apparitions which interacted with staff and guests, as if they were alive.

Season 05 - Episode 02

Case #1: Portsmouth, NH - Star Island

Case Manager: Kris Williams

Investigators: Hawes, Wilson, Gonsalves, Gartland, Tango, Williams, Bruni

Complaint:

Vaughn Cottage, Attic, sounds of heavy furniture moving and apparitions. Cottage E, feeling of being pushed down stairs, and feeling of hands touching on back.

Island Museum, something rummaging around downstairs, then nothing upon inspection - same with attic while on the floor below. Door in building also open and close by themselves.

Hotel, 4th Floor, while an employee was sleeping, doors in halls slamming in succession. Walking sound in attic. Doctor's Cottage, figure of man walking through room.

TAPS Events:

Jason and Grant investigate the Hotel first using the thermal camera. They head to the 4th Floor and see all the doors are opened. They ask that something please close the doors, but nothing happens. They mention that the heavy wind from being located on an island is most likely the cause.

Gartland, Williams, and Bruni investigate Cottage E, and try to debunk the feeling of being pushed on the steps. Gartland has a level with her, and notices all of the steps are leaning in different directions and suspect that is the cause of the strange feelings while being on the steps.

Jason and Grant investigate the attic area of the Vaughn Building. Jason decides to stay in the attic, while Grant goes a floor below. Jason begins hearing a knocking sound, and asks if it was Grant causing it. Grant, being on camera the entire time, says it was not him. They trace the noises to the Vault Area - between both the attic, and lower floor area. Jason listens to the Vault with his ear against the door, and hears something moving. After getting the key from the owner, they open the room to find nothing - the room is sealed air tight.

While in the Vault, Jason and Grant hear a door close, they find it to be the Attic door that closes on it's own. They do remember that they have a thermal camera pointing at it that they left in the Attic, and will investigate it later.

Gartland, Williams, and Bruni try some EVP work in Cottage E, and they hear a noise. They go to play it back and notice the battery on the audio recorder has died. Then they look at the video camera, and immediately it's battery dies as well.

Jason and Grant investigate the Doctor's Cottage and try some EVP work. They begin to provoke, asking for a sign. Immediately pots and pans begin rattling in the kitchen. After investigation, they discover it was caused by slight movement from the floor boards which make many things in the house shake with the slightest touch.

Steve and Dave investigate the Hotel, and head into the attic. The notice many signs of wildlife including rodent droppings, and even a rodent corpse - they account the reports of noise to be most likely from that wildlife.
