CubanClubBallroomTAPS Travel To Ybor City

The team make two stops while down in Ybor City, Florida. The first one is The Cuban Club where activity has been reported throughout the entire building. Everything from apparitions, to sounds, the a little boy playing with a ball.

The next stop is the Trelles Clinic, where strange occurrences aren't always what they appear. This is a great episode for fans who like to watch some expert debunking - done by the professionals themselves.

Season 05 - Episode 04

Case #1: Ybor City, FL - The Cuban Club

Case Manager: Kris Williams

Investigators: Hawes, Wilson, Gonsalves, Tango, Williams, Bruni, Griffith

Complaint:

Settled by Cubans in 1899. Every floor has different activity, Cantina, reports of a little boy playing with a ball. Theater, apparition of a man with his face blown off has been seen, and the feeling of nervousness. Main Staircase, woman in high heels walking up steps has been seen and heard. Grand Ballroom, sounds of tapping on floor, and walking.

TAPS Events:
Kris and Amy investigate the Grand Ballroom first, and immediately hear a loud bang. Kris tries to do some provoking, and even asks the entity to set off the fire alarm. They assume that there are many possibilities that could cause the sound they heard, and ask Jason and Grant to check it out themselves.
Jason and Grant then begin their investigation of the Ballroom. Grant hears a bump upon entering. They try to debunk what would be making the sounds of walking, so Grant heads up on the roof and walks heavily, but Jason hears nothing from inside the room. Grant tries some EMF readings, and pick up very high levels along the walls from electrical wiring. Jason begins to feel sick, and leaves the investigation for the night.
Steve and Dave investigate the Ballroom as well. They attempt several methods, including speaking in Spanish, but get no results.
Kris and Amy investigate the Theater with the thermal camera, and Amy hears a noise coming from the stage. Kris then hears something walking up and approaching her from behind, which startles her. Amy then sees a light by the stage curtain, that to her looks almost like a mist. They watch the curtain for a period of time, but the light never comes back.

Grant and Britt investigate the Ballroom, and they place a screw-on flashlight, and a K-II meter in front of them. They begin to ask a series of questions - asking that the entity turn the flashlight on and off to answer the questions. Amazingly, the flashlight responds to each question as it is asked - right on queue. This goes on for several minutes. After the questioning, they determine that the spirit is that of a young boy, aged 8 - 9 years old, and whom plays with a ball in the area.
